If the uploader button is not present in the lazyest gallery manage folder screen, there could be something wrong with write permissions. If lazyest gallery cannot write to the directory, the uploader button will not show.
A plugin to rate images will be available some time after version 1.1.
Hello and thank you for you reply.
In my main Gallery Options,
My folder is wp-content/lg-gallery/ and seems to be alright.
I also check the permission recursivly of this folder and it’s 777.
If I try to upload with another plugin, upload is working in this directory.
Then I don’t know what’s happens.
But I will wait for your 1.1 version.
cheers
Setting 777 would make your directory writable for everybody. Teherfore, most servers have a policy to block access to folders with 777 as permission setting. Quite the opposite of what you’re trying to achieve.
Anyhow, Lazyest Gallery simply uses the php function is_writable(). If that returns false, the update buttons will not show.
It’s a bit what I though about the 777,(but I read that on many forum to put 777 on upload folder). But then if I’m not wrong it’s 755, we have to give?
I’m sure that your plugin takes correctly my upload folder, because if he don’t, I remember that he don’t show the rest of the setting and explain that the folder doesn’t exist or that there is something wrong.
Dank u ! for you quick reply again ;).
Hi, I’m out of clues.
Please leave a remark on http://brimosoft.nl/lazyest/gallery/ and I’ll contact you by mail to see what else we could do in your situation..
I think the best way is that I wait for the new release and see if the problem is still there.
If the problem persist then I will contact via brimosoft.
Best regards,
