[Plugin: Job Manager] User issue

    Howdy.

    I notice that you are working on an update in the next version (0.8 I think) regarding user access. I have created a user as both a contributor and author but am getting, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” for either user role. I am using Role-scoper plugin to restrict access to certain areas of the site for some users. I wonder if this causing a problem/conflict with the job manager plugin.

    Any ideas?

    Hmm. I’ve disable the Role-scoper plugin and still get the same permissions message for authors or contributors.

    I hope this helps narrow down the problem cause I’m stumped.

    Hi Gary.

    I think I’ve sussed this out. I’ve been clicking on the Job Manager header in the sidebar which of course is trying to take me to the Job Manager Admin section.

    Clicking on the ‘expand’ arrow to the right reveals that areas this user is allowed to access.

    So, in a nutshell, the problem was…me.

    Great to know you figured it out – I’m planning on adding a Dashboard of some description at some point, which will be the first option in the menu, so will fix this problem.
