[Plugin: JM Random Quotes] Forward Slashes returned in display data

I entered

when displayed it displays as

I am sure it is simple and I should be able to resolve this, however php is not my speciality as yet. I would be glad of an update to the plugin, or if there is a smart coder can give the the coding clue I will do it .
