Problem solved with a new installation of version 1.7
I’m having the same problem.

it was just released! mine’s working again.
Unfortunately, 1.8.2 did not fix the issue for me 🙁
version 1.8.3 is out, that’s the one that fixed it. 1.8.2. is what caused the problem. Check for updates!
Oops – that was a typo. I have 1.8.3 currently installed, and as of this morning, my email subscribers are not receiving email updates.
Could you try disconnecting/reconnecting Jetpack? If you continue to have trouble, please get in touch with us at support@jetpack.me

how do i capture the e-mail addresses of all those who subscribe to my blog this way?
I’ve gotta problem with the Email subscription. I have no way of deleting users which seems kinda dumb, especially now when I’m getting lots of phony email subscribers. In other words the email they’re using is fake even though Jetpack is meant to check the email address first! Alround a bit of a mess I think.
