Plugin issues
-
i am using a local server with wordpress version 5.6 and php 7.xx
in the settings there are several errors For example in schedule user “error 404” or in settings-> shift schedule “….. wp-content \ plugins \ shift-schedule \ libs \ class.php on line 323” .
-
Please create shift types and everything will be fine.
I’m sorry but nothing has changed.
I set holidays, weekends etc, I saved the settings but the “add new” button seems deactivated and the errors reported with the previous message remain.Thank you for reporting this error!
If the button you see with a red arrow in this image doesn’t work in the plugin’s settings, it’s blocked by some kind of javascript error.
http://wpdemo.dovi42.hu/demo/new-type.jpgIn this case, please check the browser developer console (F12) to see if the system sends an error message. (Maybe the jQuery library isn’t loaded on you?)
Thanks!Sorry, I noticed that when I save the plugin settings, I notice the following message above:
“supplied for foreach() in C:\xampp\htdocs\mysite\wp-content\plugins\shift-schedule\shift-schedule.php on line 303”I changed my browser (from Mozilla to Chrome)
I tried to check for errors from the console with the F12 key and the following appeared:JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2
shift-schedule-admin.js:361 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected string
options-general.php?page=shift-schedule-setting-admin&shift-schedule-tab=settings:349 The specified value “” does not conform to the required format. The format is “#rrggbb” where rr, gg, bb are two-digit hexadecimal numbers.
options-general.php?page=shift-schedule-setting-admin&shift-schedule-tab=settings:315 Uncaught ReferenceError: shift_schedule_698_showNewTypeBox is not defined
at HTMLButtonElement.onclick (options-general.php?page=shift-schedule-setting-admin&shift-schedule-tab=settings:315)and the result is the same.
so far I have installed and uninstalled numerous plugins for testing purposes, and only this one presented operational errors.-

Thank you very much for your help!
So I can fix it now. I’ll ask for a little bit of that, but I’ll let you know here if a new, improved version is available.Thank you for your patience and help!
The problem has been solved and the new version (1.27) is included, which includes the fix. I hope you enjoy the plugin!Hi,
I have installed the latest version 1.27 and with pleasure I notice that the shift type problem has been solved, but when I select tab “User Schedule”, result is “OBJECT NOT FOUND” error 404 appears too.
I get the same result when I press the month button forwards or backwards in tab “Schedule Month”.-

I think all you need to do is update your browser cache.
I tested on a completely empty installation without specifying any settings for the plugin and the error did not occur.
I’m sorry, because I will only be available after Christmas. I hope the problem is resolved.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!HI,
I have installed version 1.29. (localhost with ver. 5.6 )
Sorry but I’m not a wordpress expert then
with the WP-clean plugin I deleted the cache, all the tables and any orphaned files of the numerous plugins tested, and relaunched the “schedule user ” and the buttons of the month forward and backward, this time without setting any shift type, using with a third Browser (Edge) for the first time , after trying with Mozilla and Chrome, and unfortunately the result is the same “error 404 …..”. All this happens with this plugin and not with others. I tried other plugins for shifts but I immediately liked this one for its simplicity and effectiveness of operation, precisely because in my company I often have to regularize work shifts. A desirable feature would be to filter users by category, unless this already works. I wish you a Merry Christmas. It really hurt that I couldn’t figure out the cause of the mistake, it didn’t let me rest.
I think i managed to figure it out and the 404 error helped. If I think about it, WordPress is running in a subdirectory on the local server and the subpage links in the plugin are incorrect. I fixed and uploaded the new version. (1.30)
I’m sorry, because everything runs on my subdomain and I just didn’t think it might be different elsewhere.great now it works !!!
A desirable feature would be to filter users by category/department,,,,in future releases.Thank you very much for your availability.
byeLet all your wishes come true in this way.
I have created a “Christmas version” (1.31) that can already handle categories and of course you can use these as filters in shortcodes. I hope you can use the plugin as you see fit.
Please remember to rate the plugin: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/shift-schedule/reviews/thank you very much for your availability.
If you want to make this plugin a MASTERPIECE , in the New Year’s version, users will be imported from the users table (or bulk mode) and categories from the post -> categories.-

Better if the filter can be applied to the roles so each user (manager) who authenticates can manage his own staff or department and put the title of the Department or staff when printing.

I apologize for the late reply. My attention seems to be diminishing during the holidays. In the plugin, employees are intentionally not registered users of the site. In this way, there is no need for any activity on the part of the employees, their schedule can be managed in this way as well. (Remember, the plugin was basically developed for nursing shifts.)
Similarly, categories are intentionally their own categories. (It would have been easier if it weren’t, but it could be confusing when listing a category, for example.)

Filter: I may not understand you well. Do you think that in the admin interface when editing a schedule, would it be nice to have a category filter and only show employees who belong to that category? -
