Plugin Issues

Hi,

On my website I installed the customizr theme and installed 3 differetn twitter feeds plugins but non of them seems to work:

1. Fetch Tweets
2. Twitter Widget Pro
3. Kebo – Twitter Feed

Here is the error I get once the twitter feeds are installed: Red circle!

The other twitter feed is the embedded code I copied from the twitter account and that seems to work fine.

What could be the problem, please assist.

Hi,
After installing the plugins, go to Appearance->Widgets. Drag and drop the widgets of the particular plugin to the sidebar.

I tried Fetch tweets. It works with the Customizr theme.

Hi,

Okay, I’ve tried to do what you told me to but still getting this error:

Under Appearance >> Customize (Where you edit the theme) under widgets I get this: “There are no widget areas currently rendered in the preview. Navigate in the preview to a template that makes use of a widget area in order to access its widgets here.” – surely that’s not right.

I also used the widget “Fetch Tweets by Rule Set” in the right slidebar & enable it on the page I want it to display.

So, you have to add widgets to the sidebar for you to be able to see the widgets.
Like this.

Yes exactly like that, but still doesn’t want to work.

Can you post the screenshot for Widgets section in your customizer panel?

Hi,

Mmmh, now for all of a sudden the footer section in the customizr – edit part is missing.

It’s not the paid version of customizr though, could that be the issues? Like limitations.

Do you make use of the paid version?

No. It is not because of the free version.

Hi,
The footer appears fine. Do you have some issue there?

Are you still not able to add the tweets widget? Are you able to add any other widget?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

When I moved the widget to the footer, it’s also not displaying.

Still not able to add the tweets widget, can add a text widget but also not displaying. If I add the embedded twitter code on a page, then it’s working.

Please let me know.
