    Hello. On [ redundant link removed ], I have installed and activated your plugin, and am now trying to configure it. In the back-end, when I click the ‘Configure’ button in the Page Caching section (screenshot), I am redirected to this URL: [ deleted ]

    Why is that occurring and how can I resolve it?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @cag8f,

    Moderators removed your links. Could you please provide the part of the URL without the domain name? http://example.com/this_part/

    Best regards,

    There is no part of the URL after the domain name. I wanted to provide the full URL of my site, and I did. The moderator simply removed it from the body of the post and added it to the section, “The page I need help with:”

    edit: Actually, sorry, the moderator did indeed remove the second URL–the URL that your plugin redirects me to. That URL is genuine-keys <dot> com

    @cag8f,

    This could happen for a number of reasons. First of all, if you are getting redirected to another website, which is not yours, please scan your site for malware and viruses. I can recommend Defender plugin, but you can use whichever one you prefer. Second of all, if the website, that you are redirected to, is your site, or maybe you did a site migration, you should verify that all the links have been changed in the wp_options database table (look for ‘siteurl’ and ‘home’ in option_name).

    Best regards,

    That is not the case here. The site I am redirected to is not my site.

    OK. This is what is occurring, so I will look into scans. Give me a few days to do so and I will report back here.

    It was indeed malware on my site that was causing the redirect. Let’s assume the malware came from elsewhere, and not your plugin. So we can consider this particular issue resolved, thanks.
