  • After changing image sizes, did you regenerate your thumbnails:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Ultimately image sizes are set by the theme’s css. If the above doesn’t fix the issue, please post the link to a relevant page. It may be possible to tweak display sizes with some custom css.

    Already done with no difference. What should be done to the CSS, would there be a restriction?

    I have since tried a couple of images which come out slightly bigger but theres no correlation between them.

    I cant tell of any definite limit with the Make Theme.

    To be able to advise on the css, please post a link to a relevant page, as page markup varies. I don’t have the Make theme. A screenshot won’t help.

    The restriction is that the thumbnail size in settings should be about the same size as the display size. If the thumbnail size is set too small, the images are too stretched on the page and become blurry. If the thumbnail size is set too large, the page load time increases unnecessarily.

    I’ve loaded up Make 1.5.0.

    Looks like you have the right sidebar enabled, and its empty. You can put some widgets in the sidebar at Admin page > Appearance > Widgets: stuff like a search box, a text block, a featured producs, or choose form any of the WooCommerce widgets. Alternatively, if you don’t want a sidebar, go to the Shop page in the list of pages and check that the page template is set to default, then go to Admin page > Appearance > Customise > Layout > Archives and ensure right sidebar is not ticked.

    The other thing to note is that you have the standard 4 products to a row set. Its possible to change this to 3 to a row for example, which should make the product images bigger, but you need to resolve the sidebar/no sidebar issue first.

    Sidebar sorted but the issue still remains, and cant see how to change the Row set in the settings at all? Please help mate!

    Hi,

    I am experiencing the same problem of not being able to resize images even after changing the size in the settings and regenerating thumbnails.
    I also noticed that the sidebar on my shop page and when viewing any product page just disappears. The sidebar is visible on every other page other than those.

    Here is the site: http://servicemanor.com/

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    @thecustodian45
    Yes I can see there is no sidebar now. It looks like you have 4 products per row, or rather you will have when you have 4 products. This is the default and generally it looks good.

    If you want to change the number of products per row, and there is no provision to do this in Theme Options, then you need to make a child theme:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
    and put the first code snippet from here:
    http://docs.woothemes.com/document/change-number-of-products-per-row/
    into functions.php for the child theme.

    @marvikand
    Please check that at Admin page > MyStile > Settings > WooCommerce > “Display the sidebar on shop archives” = checked. For further assistance, please note that forum guidelines are to start a new thread because your setup and solution may be different, even for the same problem. It can get confusing to address two issues in one thread.

    Decided to just leave it as it as it looks quite nice, but now all of my pictures are different sized as you can see, why the hell has this happened as the Woocommerce Display Settings should surely control this?

    They look the same size now so maybe you fixed it.

    Using different plugin, had enough of Woocommerce.
