Plugin hasn’t been updated in a year

    Hello – I love this plugin, but noticed that it hasn’t kept up with WordPress versions, so I was wondering if there was any intent to continue updating, or should I look for another option? Thanks!

    Thank you for using Fix Alt Text! We built this plugin because we needed it for our own project and then felt that others could benefit from it too. So we are glad you are using it!

    Unless there are some significant bugs or security issues, we have been releasing once or twice a year. It seems that we should release a new version with every WP release just to signal compatibility and active maintenance. Thank you for checking in and yes we intend on maintaining this for a very long time :).

    In fact, we are working on a version 2.0 as we speak, which addresses a few known bugs and conforms to the WP plugin standards to increase reliability and maintain security.

    We appreciate your support and always welcome constructive feedback.
