I have tried these steps and my plugin is updated, there no code in Custom JS / CSS.
The issue still doesn’t go away.

For benefit of others, who want to continue using this plugin, I could resolve the issue by doing the following –
1. Ensure that the plugin is updated.
2. Copy plugin code/details and delete all popups that have an issue of redirecting to random URLs.
3. Recreate the popups.
This resolved the issue for me, but I might not continue using it as it is quiet a grave issue in my opinion. But overall it used to be a great plugin other than that.
