[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Sitemap Empty

I have installed the XML-Sitemap Generator and although it generates successfully, it comes out blank. Here’s a few details

1. My wordpress blog is located in a subdirectory. http://www.gearsoftech.com/wordpress although my homepage and posts all originate from http://www.gearsoftech.com

2. When the sitemap is generated or rebuilt, a link is displayed in the settings page of the plugin directing me here: http://www.gearsoftech.com/wordpress/sitemap.xml however if I remove the “www” part from the address, I can see my sitemap perfectly.

How do I fix this?
