[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Quick beginner question about XML sitemaps

    I am new to this plug-in and setting up an XML sitemap, question:

    Is the sitemap generated an actual page that I might/should add to my navigation menu?

    From the basic set up introduction, I see how the xml file is used by Google, but can I also use it to actually add a sitemap page for my site, or is it only an admin/webmaster/Google tool?

    No, the XML file is only meant for Google.

    If you want a human-readable sitemap, you can create one by hand on a WordPress page or use a plug-in like WP Archive-Sitemap Generator.
