[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Problem writing sitemap

Hi,

I am getting the ‘There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable. and the
There was a problem writing your zipped sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable.’ error messages.

Bit confused at why I would receive these as when I click ‘rebuild sitemap manually’ everything seems to work…

Is there something I am missing or is there an issue with the automated script, one would think they run the same script if clicking manually or creating a new post…?

In regards to permissions I have been told that all files have write opportunities, I assume this is correct as manually building the files works.

As a note, the GET request responds DONE! but actually doesn’t update the file and then also displays the error messages at the top of this post.

I hope someone can shed some light on this.
