I am unable to exclude a page in the sitemap. I have tried using the ‘id’ and the entire URL but it keeps being included in the generated sitemap. How do I exclude a specific page successfully? Thanks.

There is a feature to exclude pages but this is being ignored when the sitemap is built. There have been previous posts on this exact topic but they were closed without being resolved or answered!
