[Plugin: Google Custom Search] If statement for template

    Does anyone know how to write the template code as an if else statement, because when the plugin is deactivated, it only shows an error message.

    This is the template code from the instructions:

    <?php display_search_box(DISPLAY_RESULTS_AS_POP_UP); ?>

    there’s nothing on their website or on the FAQ or anything that I can find, about adding this more safely into a template.
