[Plugin: Google Calendar Events] Undefined index: max_events

    I’m having a problem with gce-calendar events on my blog. There seems to be some sort of interference with another plugin, the web-ethical-windguru-plugin.

    The GCE plugin works fine on all of my pages, except those that also have the windguru plugin. I’m using the widget part of the plugin.

    I get this error:

    Notice: Undefined index: max_events in /homepages/41/d347430527/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/widget/gce-widget.php on line 48

    I’m really lost on this, my php knowledge is very basic.

    Hi jonsurrell,

    I think this is a slight oversight on my part (sorry!). However, I think there is a simple fix. Try clicking the ‘Save’ button on the Google Calendar Events widget (don’t change any of the settings). Hopefully, just doing this will solve the problem.

    If this doesn’t seem to work, let me know!

    I’ve identified the offending code in the plugin, and will release a fixed version soon.

    Thanks for the quick reply, Ross.

    I tried this (saving both the feed settings and the general plug-in settings) and it hasn’t solved the problem. If you have any other suggestions or fixes, I’m happy to try them, otherwise I’ll wait for the fix.

    Hi again,

    Did you try the save button on the widget itself (in Appearance > Widgets)?

    The fix is fairly simple, and is explained in this comment if you want to give it a try!

    If you’re still seeing the message, let me know and I’ll investigate further.

    Got the fix to work, resave in the widget from the appearance page.
