Plugin gone, folder still there

    My Easy Recipe plugin is no longer listed as an installed plugin and has basically been removed from my site, by no action of mine. However, I can still see the files and folder in my blue host file manager.

    Should I simply delete these files and re-install? If so, will it update all past recipes on my blog?

    Hi,

    Delete the “wp-content/plugins/easyrecipe” directory and re-install.

    You won’t lose any data.

    I had the same issue on another site. Easy Recipe (though installed) was not listed with the plugins in the Dashboard. When I went into the hosting files I found it in wp-content/plugins/easyrecipe. I deleted that files (per instructions above) and reinstalled the plugin.

    It seems that it’s working now but all old recipe posts have lost their formatting. Is this right?
