Plugin for Placement of Widgets

I’d like to have more control over where widgets appear on the different sections of a blog. For example. I’d like to be able to define which widgets are visible on certain category pages for more relevance. I’ve done some searching and haven’t found a plugin that does this yet. Any suggestions?
