[Plugin: File Gallery] "simple" template – validator

    Hello Aesqe,
    just very minor remark – it seems the “simple” template doesn’t return a valid code. The only problem is the attribute “name” for a transfer of URL of detailed image:

    name=”http://www…….detail.jpg”
    after urlencode():
    name=”http%3A%2F%2Fwww……..detail.jpg”

    I know sour solution is fully functional, but don’t you consider some “cleanup” of this in the future?

    hey, joo-joo 🙂

    in 1.7, I’ve added a hidden ‘span’ element that holds intermediate size filename difference and extension, which is then appended to the fullsize filename (e.g. ‘-300×225;#;#;png’).

    if you have any other suggestions, just fire away 🙂

    frankly, I am not sure… I have a test page with “simple” template under FG 1.7-RC1, but I still can see messages in the validator like this:

    Line 409, Column 86: character “%” is not allowed in the value of attribute “name”
    …-content/uploads/3_108.jpg” name=”http%3A%2F%2Fwww ……….etc.

    Is your “test page” with “simple” template OK, please?

    well, that’s because it’s in 1.7 (without RC) which I’ll upload to trunk when I get home from work (in an hour or two) – forgot to mention, sorry 🙂

    thanks – 1.7-RC2: validator issue is OK. To tell the truth, I didn’t test “everything” but I am not aware of any problems.
