[Plugin: Feed Layout] breaks the_content and the_excerpt

This plugin was giving my site the following error:

Warning: Parameter 1 to fdl_the_content() expected to be a reference, value given in /*************/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 170

I did not need the plugin so I have simply deactivated it.
