Support » Plugin: Extended API » [Plugin: Extended API] Issue when many functions are available

  • Hello.

I use WordPress on a managed hosting service. The hoster has configured their server in such a way that it rejects any HTTP requests with more than 2048 parameters. This can cause issues with this plugin if there are enough plugins installed to have more than about 2040 functions in the entire system. Since I do have enough plugins installed I need to change the relevant entries in the database by hand each time I need to add or remove a function; hardly ideal.

It would be great if Extended API could update my allowed functions without submitting the entire list of all installed functions each time. For instance, you could use JavaScript to make a list of changes and just submit that.

I realize this is old. I wish I received emails when people post on this forum, but in any case, I’m working on a solution for this.

I hope to have it incorporated into a release in the very near future.
