[Plugin: Events Manager] Theme causes datepicker problems. How to fix?

Hi there,

I read plenty of posts (and answers) about themes (especially theme forest themes) causing troubles with the datepicker of the events manager plugin and I have the same problem. However, I couldn’t find a fix yet.

I am running the Freestyle theme (AIT themes) which uses its own jQuery version (Google), which I believe causes the troubles. At least if I can believe all the other posts. However, I did check the jQuery version that the theme uses and WP and they are both the same. That was one suggest fix to the issue.

So my question: How else can I get the date picker to work? Has anyone figured something out?
