  • Does paypal callback eshop after a transaction? The server is behind a strict firewall and I am wondering if it hinders two ways communication with paypal.

    I am trying to set up eshop with paypal sandbox and the payment are marked completed as far as paypal is concerned. However, it seems that eshop is not notified about the status of the transaction as it marks them all as failed.

    Here is the messages eshop sends me. As you can see that the paypal status is: payment_status: Completed

    I’d say the chance of your firewall being the reason for your problem is about 99.9%.

    I can’t seem to find in the documentation of eshop any specification as to the callback process from paypal.
    (I.E. Transport method, URL, firewall port, etc..)

    The network admins would need me to provide them with some of these in order to help.

    That’s because we haven’t published any. eShop uses the PHP Paypal IPN Integration Class. We haven’t done anything funky with transport methods, or firewall ports. You need to address your question to the forum on https://developer.paypal.com/
