Plugin Error with address verification and labels

    Errors are being shown when verifying the customer’s address and also when pulling shipping rates from USPS.

    Shipping address verification error:

    Error validating destination address: Error: The WooCommerce Tax server returned: Internal Server Error An internal server error occurred ( 500)

    Shipping Rate Error:

    The load balancer was unable to handle this request

    Thanks for flagging this. Your store is affected by a temporary outage with the shipping service. Right now it’s impacting shipping rates, address validation, and label purchases, so you may see errors like “The load balancer was unable to handle this request” or “500 Internal Server Error,” and no rates showing.

    This is a known issue affecting many stores. It’s not a problem with your store or settings, and there’s nothing you need to change. It will start working again automatically once the service is back.

    There’s nothing you need to do right now. We’re monitoring it closely, and we’ll reach out to you by email as soon as it’s resolved.
