Plugin error Use roles and capabilities instead

    Notice: has_cap was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.0! Usage of user levels by plugins and themes is deprecated. Use roles and capabilities instead. in /hsphere/local/home/svitz/blogg.andreas-svitzer.web.surftown.se/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3321

    I get this error when i try to install a couple of plugins.

    I’ve read that this is becouse the plugin doesnt support 3.0.1 but when i looked it up all of the plugins are for 3.0.1

    Anyone know why this happens and if it’s becouse the plugins doesn’t work for 3.0.1 can i do something about it?

    contact the plugin author and see if they’ll fix the error.

    OK, well in that case those particular Plugins are clearly not 3.0.1 compatible. Try posting in the Plugins forum and it should get flagged and appear on the Plugin page itself (bottom right).
