Same here. Receiving 401 error with 2 different accounts. Double checked the passwords but the problem stays…
Same here too, have checked the plugin settings and nothing wrong. Wonder if there is another plugin I could try.
The plugin hasn’t been updated since 2009, so it was definitely not upgraded for the mandatory OAuth protocol switch. Try one of these:

Also, if you’re looking to just display your recent tweets in your sidebar, you can generate an official Twitter profile widget and add it to your sidebar via a Text/HTML widget at Appearance/Widgets in your admin panel. Start here:

Currently, the plugin does not have OAuth support. The posting feature will not work. I hope to update it soon, but in the meantime the plugins James mentioned above are worth considering.
