[Plugin: Easyfileshop] Invalid receiver email

    Hi, the plugin is working fine except that the receiver doesn’t get the email with the link instead this note comes up in the plugin settings: Invalid receiver email

    If you could kindly advise what the problem might be and how to fix it, that would be much appreciated.

    Strangely enough the invalid receiver email is a personal email address which is different from the payer’s email address and not used by me in conjunction with this website at all and I checked all admin and user settings. I’m puzzled.

    According to the ipn.php file (line 108) your primary PayPal email is compared to the email you have in your easyfileshop settings. If you’re getting the error it means they differ (i.e. if you have specified a secondary PayPal email address in easysfileshop config instead of the primary one).
    You can modify your ipn.php file to print both values to the error log and see why do they differ.
