[Plugin: Easy Contact Forms] Simply Frustrating Plugin

I guess I should have seen the lack of support indicated here on the plugin forum as a perfect reason to not bother with this frustrating plugin.
I downloaded the plugin, installed it and got the basic functions working but, like many others, I need to know how to list items horizontally in the case of smaller fields or checkboxes. I watched each tutorial, emailed support, searched for support forums and scoured these threads here at wordpress.org. Not a single glimmer of hope and on the rare occasion the developer bothers to respond to a thread here, he or she simply PMs the user, effectively keeping this information secret instead of just making the information public.
After searching their site a little longer, I discovered that I could BUY a premade template with many of the necessary features that I required. I figured that by being a paid customer, maybe I would get some — any — level of support regarding these issues.
Nope.
It’s been almost 48 hours without so much as an acknowledgement that I’ve emailed for help with my new template. There is still no information to be found on the subject. I’m assuming that this is a simple process that is just eluding so many users; with the number of people requesting help on this matter, I also assume the developer could take two minutes and reply with a canned response explaining how.
I would really appreciate if the developer of this plugin made information that is so widely desired available. Otherwise, “Easy Contact Forms” really is a horrible name.
