[Plugin: Duplicator] Database Test Connection Failed

Hello

I’m using this plugin for the first time and I ran into an issue after trying to open up the installer through my domain. I typed in the domain into my browser and had received a 403 Forbidden Error. So instead, I used the method of typing /installer.php at the end of my domain which worked and opened the Duplicator installer.

I followed the steps of inputting my database information, user, password, but when I click test connection I get:

Using Connection String:
Host=localhost; Database=xxxxxx; Uid=xxxxxxx; Pwd=xxxxxxx; Port=3306

Server Connected: Fail
Database Found: Fail

How can I fix this problem? Thanks in advance!
