    Yes, it is a 32-bit version, but it has worked on every single 64-bit OS I’ve tested it on (Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian). Please ask them what operating system, distribution, and version is running on your server.

    I just tested it again on Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS 64-bit, and it runs just fine. It’s a stock minimal install, with nothing extra added.

    At any rate, you can try downloading this version of EWWW: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ewww-image-optimizer.2.5.9.zip

    Extract it, and then upload jpegtran-linux64 to the wp-content/ewww/ folder and rename it to jpegtran-alt

    If you use FTP to transfer it, be sure to put it into binary mode. If it still isn’t working, please post your debugging information from the settings page via pastebin.com
