Hi Argie!
First of all, thanks for (trying to) use our plugin. There are two possible explanations for not seeing external featured images:
- The images are included in the webpage, but they are “too small”. This is easily solved by adding a CSS code.
- The images are not even included in the final HTML code of the page. Therefore, we have a PHP problem and we’d have to edit the source code of the theme (or, even better, create a child theme if possible)
Unfortunately, I don’t own the Divi theme, so I can’t look into this issue. If you could please share a link to your WordPress site where the external featured image is not working, I’d really appreciate it. Also, if you could send me a copy of the theme (so that I can look into it), I’ll try to fix the issue for you.
Best,
David
Thank you very much for your answer, David.
I don’t think the problem is the image’s size. I think the problem is the code of the blog page that Divi generates when I choose the option “grid”.
Unfortunately I can’t send you Divi theme because this is must-to-pay theme, but if you do a quick search using Google you’ll find lots of site where you can download and test it.
Sorry for this incovenient.
Kind regards.
Hi Argie,
I prefer not to download the theme from untrusted sources. If you send it to me privately (customers at Nelio Software dot com), just for testing purposes on my local development installation, then I can look exactly at what’s amiss. Otherwise, I can’t help you.
In the meantime, if you could share a link from your blog where I can see the issue, that might be helpful too.
The thread has been inactive for two weeks. I’ll close it.
Hi David,
sorry I forgot to send you the theme. Now I’m sending you it at the email you wrote above.
Thank you.
