Hello,

I have installed my WP installation in a subdirectory.
Followed instructions from this URL for URL rewriting –
https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

However, the WP Hide & Security plugin is not working when I rename the Login page from wp-login.php to login.php

It is working fine when WP is installed in the root directory, and not a subdirectory.

Please help !

Hello,

Specifically, I tried the login page rename method.
I changed the name from “wp-login.php” to “login.php”

This seemed to work when WP was installed in the root directory itself. However, if WP is installed in a sub-directory, and URL rewriting is used –
https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

Then, this plugin doesn’t work.

Thanks for the update.
I have used an alternative solution for now. I’ll try to test it out with this plugin, and let you know if it works.
