Plugin doesn’t work from Elementor

I am able to get this plugin to work great from the wordpress post editing page. However, I also use Elementor on my site (www.elementor.com) and I am trying to add an image using the media library there (which appears to be the same media library that shows up from clicking the “Add Media” button in the wordpress post editor). I see the Insert From Google Drive button, but clicking it does nothing.

Is this some kind of authentication problem? The developer console doesn’t issue any warnings when the page loads or when I click the button.
