Plugin doesn't work after upgrading to WP 4.3
-
My timeline page is now empty after migrating to WP 4.3.

I just contacted you on your website via contact form.
WordPress 4.3.1, Twenty-Twelve theme. Testing Timeline Express for client.
Is Timeline Express broken in WP 4.3.1? Here’s what I did to test it:
Create new announcement, use today’s date for date. Publish, enter shortcode [timeline-express] on test page, all fine.
Create new announcement, use date in past, save.
Go to Timeline Express Settings page, change Time Frame from Future Events to All Events (past + future), Save Settings.
Go to test page, older-dated post not seen. Go back to Timeline Express settings, Time Frame still set at Future Events! I changed back to All Events several times and saved, behavior repeats, resetting to Future Events each time.
I’d really like to use this plug-in, but it seems that in 4.3.1, it’s broken. Client would probably pay for a donation if it worked.
@wpress2010 I can’t reproduce the error here:
http://delevine.fr/timeline-page/
i followed the same steps using 2012, wp 4.3.1, fresh instance of TE. Plugin works fine and retains saved settings
Hello,
just wanted to report same bug – settings doesn’t save 🙁The timeline doesn’t seem to be working on the “Berger” Theme (http://themeforest.net/item/berger-wordpress-creative-agency-portfolio-theme/11052402). I’m working on the site locally for a client. I’ve deactivated every other plug-in I have an nothing has changed.
Is this a new issue with WP 4.3? Was it running fine with 4.2?
Thanks for getting back to me so soon.
It’s a fresh install of 4.3.
*I had never run it on 4.2, I found this plugin just today.
I have looked into this problem further and NONE of the settings can be saved.
If the settings can’t be saved then you have a JavaScript error on your site which can occur due to a conflict with another plugin or your theme.
Please try deactivating plugins one a time until the plugin works. IF by the time you deactivate all plugins, the issue still persists please try and switch themes temporarily.
This plugin works with a fresh install of WordPress, running no other plugins. So somewhere along the line a conflict is occurring.

@webguyjon, I haven’t personally had an incident where the timeline just didn’t show up. The only way I would be able to help out with what is going on, is by having access to the theme. Since it’s a premium theme purchased from theme forest, I don’t have access to it.

It seems that this thread has been hijacked by users with different issues.
Evan, I have contacted you via the contact form on your website. I can create an access for you with Admin rights but will need your email address. Please respond to me if you wish to proceed this way.
Thanks@evan Herman
I could email the files of the theme if that would help? Dropbox, ShareSpace, etc.
Error console shows this error:
script.timeline-express.min.js?ver=4.3.1:2 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘replace’ of undefined
Your posts will go unanswered until you re-read each response you have received and attempted the fixes that have been suggested.
Thanks,
Evan
