[resolved] Plugin doesn't work (14 posts)

    When I entered the "Badges" and add new step on "Required Steps", there was no "Community Activity" appeared.

    I have re-installed this plugin but it doesn't work.

    I use Buddypress 1.8 and WordPress 3.5.2

    Thanks for your help!

    Ever get this one figured out by chance?

    Have we confirmed that BuddyPress, BadgeOS, and the Community Addon are all activated on the site in question?

    That's the only way I can see it not being added. The inclusion of the files that adds it to the dropdown is dependent on all of these being true:

    if (
    class_exists('BadgeOS') && function_exists('badgeos_get_user_earned_achievement_types') && class_exists('BuddyPress')
    )

    Also, if you can, see if you get the same behavior when on 3.6, instead of 3.5.2

    Screenshots would be preferred. I try to avoid logging into other peoples' websites whenever possible.

    I have updated my wordpress to 3.6.1 and the newest buddypress.
    It still doesn't work.

    Does anyone report the same problem?
    This is a great plugin though.. :)

    Can't say I've seen any other issues of the same nature, to be honest. Not sure what's going on in your case.

    I'm having the same problem on when installing on the main blog of a multisite. The community activity dropdown is not showing up. I have everything updated to the latest version.

    tesargusmawan is your setup a multisite setup as well? or just single site? That may shed some more information on the issue.

    I figured out the problem occurs when buddypress is network activated on a multisite and badgeos is only activated on the main blog. I tested this by activating the buddypress on just the main blog and the community activity drop down shows up fine. Then when I network activate buddypress the drop down disappears.

    Interesting. I'll check this one out and see if I can reproduce, which sounds likely. Stay tuned, and thank you for the information sheridanmedia :)

    I reported the issue at https://github.com/opencredit/BadgeOS-Community-Add-on/issues/12 as I wasn't able to solve it myself at the moment.
