Plugin doesn’t do anything

    This plugin doesn’t change anything on my site.

    FYI: Defining a function

    exclude_category_home( $query )

    with e.g.

    $query->set( 'cat', '-2, -26' );

    …does also not have an effect. (Which is why I tried this plugin)

    So there might be a problem with my theme.

    UCE version: 1.1
    PHP version: 5.6.31-he.0
    WordPress version: 4.7.3
    Theme: Prado is version 1.0.0
    Number of categories is: 23
