Hi, I installed this plugin today to connect Facebook Pixel with my website.

I have already installed it beforehand to get events, but I want to get other data like conversion rates eg Cart, Purchase.

I have done everything in the video and ticked the general settings option. I used Facebook Pixel Helper and it does not show anything except for what I had installed before – events.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong

    Thank you

    Hi,

I am not sure what exactly is not working. Is it the WooCommerce events value? If that’s so, make sure the value is activated for WooCommerce events and deactivate and activate the plugin again.

If there is something else, give me more details about what is not working.

    UPDATE:

    I’ve been on your website:

    1. AddToCart – you’re using some plugin (or it’s the theme) that’s changing the default WooCommerce behavior by firring a pop-up. It looks like our plugin won’t work in this situation. You can disable the pop-up and test again.

    2. Purchase event – I can’t test it, since I need an actual transaction. However, if you use the default order-received page I see no reason for it not to work. You can make a test order and send me the exact “thank you” page URL so I can check it.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to look at my site.

    1. I will go about to disable it, but must the plugin be disabled permanently? I need it to collect emails. Is there no way to get around this? If you know which part of the pop-up plugin is affecting this, I can contact their developers to work this out.

2.I’ve just checked – the link of the thank-you page on my website changes everytime. The URL is a customization of the Order number. Is there no way to get the purchase event in this case?

    Thank you

    1. Is not about your newsletter popup, it’s the cart popup that fires when the cart button is clicked. Actually I saw a few minutes ago that you turned it OFF and the AddToCart event was working as it should. The newsletter popup was there too.

    2. The Purchase event will fire on that page (the one with the order number) – that’s one of the main things our plugin does. I expect it to work fine, but send me a sample URL so I can be sure (the exact page that you get after making a test order).

    Hi,

    1. I don’t think that I can turn it off but I will check with the theme developer.

    Thank you for your help!

    1. OK, that will help. I am pretty sure that I’ve seen it turned OFF at some point when I was testing your site.

    2. Our Purchase event works fine, but you have another one inserted in your page source that doesn’t work. It’s better to remove it.

    Hi,

    1. I have not touched it, but I will let you know once I have turned it off!

    2. Could you please tell me how you check it? I have used Facebook Pixel Helper and it only says “PageView”. I have the information of purchase and add to cart because I have added the links on Facebook Pixel setting.

    thank you

I simply use Pixel Helper and I can see it.

Make sure you don’t test as an admin while excluding admins from the plugin settings.

Here are the events that I get:

    PageView
    Purchase
    SubscribedButtonClick
    Purchase
    Microdata
    GeneralEvent

As you can see, there are two Purchase events – one of them is added by something else and is not working.
