Plugin does not have a valid header – Social Crowd

    I downloaded 0.8.6 version of Social Crowd

    During Activate – WordPress throws Plugin does not have a valid header error message.

    Looking inside the plugin directory, there was another folder for 0.8.5, which is not required when installing 0.8.6

    Solution – Unzip 0.8.6 version.
    Delete 0.8.5 folder. Upload the files to Plugins folder and Activate.

    Looks like developer accidentally added 0.8.5 folder within 0.8.6
