I’m developing in localhost my first Disqus-powered WordPress and when I try to login with my Twitter account, my status (above the comment form) is showed as ‘Registered’ instead of ‘Twitter’ and I’m unable to use the sharing checkboxes until I log into Disqus. This seems to happen in every WordPress website i tried, even on Mashable.com.

Same thing with Facebook Connect. This makes pretty useless all the third party login system.

BUT The odd thing is that if you change the sort option (example: Newer
First to Best Rating), the status actually changes from ‘Registered’
to ‘Twitter’ and the sharing checkbox is usable and already checked,
which I think is the normal behaviour.

This happens only with the WordPress plugin: I tried with other Disqus powered websites, like some Tumblrs, and it works flawlessly. It seems there are differents APIs for this plugin.

This happens to you too? I tested this with different browsers and computers..
