Plugin Counts do not match either Google Analytics or Visitor Statistics Pro
-
I have been using Top 10 for several years. Counts are set to cycle on 30 days. There is a major inconsistency lately between the counts of Top 10, Google Analytics, and another plugin that I use called Visitor Statistics Pro. Just recently, since WordPress updated to Block Editor Widgets, the counts in the Top 10 do not seem to update anywhere close to what I see in other counters. How can I use Top 10 to be more reflective of actual traffic to my site?
Top 10 is the lowest count, followed by Google analytics. However, my other traffic counter shows major traffic even over Google. The top 10 remains almost static. I don’t see the counts changing reflected in the WordPress database.
My ISP says that the page view traffic on my site is greater than all of the plugin counts by a factor of 25 or more. That is the most confusing.
