[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Placeholder Text

I wanted to use placeholder text on my contact forms rather than watermarks – client request!

All the solutions I have found about adding in lines of code to the text.php and textarea.php do not seem to work because there lines of code seem to have been updated?

Can anyone help?!
