[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Error with E-mails Starting with P

I am running CF7 2.4.2 and I have an issue. I have a form to contact one of departments by selecting it from a list.

The problem is that any e-mail starting with “P” has a glitch. For example, p@domain.com or publication@domain.com will cause the issue. In the form, the item has quotation marks around it, and selecting it and submitting the form fails validation. Other e-mails work, and using just the e-mail and not the department name is my current work-around.
