• I’ve been using Contact form 7 for years now
I have problems with a recent website install

    1. The email sent from the form come from ‘WordPress’
The email address is correct, but the name of the email is WordPress
    What am I doing wrong

I have in the receiver and sender the same email (the email is optional in the form I have) – I have tried using just the email and something like this: First Last <name@mydomain.com>

    Both have no effect

    2. Can I have a successful sending go to a new page?
The way I have my page, the successful sending shows at the bottom of the page in green – but when the page refreshes it stays at the bottom and not in view – in other forms, it can be seen

Not sure what I’m doing wrong

Regardless: I think it would be better if the user was sent to another page that said ‘Thank you’ or something

    Thanks

    Omar

  • 1. Try adding this in the “from” field: [your-name] <[your-email]>
…although I’m not totally sure on this one.

    2. Add this to the “additional settings” at the bottom of the Contact Form 7 setting page in wordpress. It’s worked great for me in the past.

    on_sent_ok: "location.replace('http://www.YOURSITE.com');"

Can you not compare how you have used this on your other sites?
