Plugin closed? Guideline violation?

    Hi,
    for the last few weeks the plugin cannot be updated through the wordpress plugin system anymore.

    The official plugin page https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-event-manager/ says:

    This plugin has been closed as of December 3, 2025 and is not available for download. Reason: Guideline Violation.

    What is the current state of the plugin?
