Plugin Causing Blank White WP-Admin Screen
-
I am in desperate need of help for one of my important websites.
It’s been a long time (~ 1 year) since I hit the admin panel so I decided to check back in today. As the title says, I am getting redirected to a white screen when attempting to access my /wp-admin.php login prompt. It also appeared that my logo on the top left of the page was missing.
I decided to read up and ultimately renamed my wordpress-seo (an old version, 0.4.2) in the plugins folder. By doing this, I was able to get the webpage to display the logo. The admin panel is still the white screen however.
I decided to try and successfully upgrade to WP 3.7.1 which worked. I then attempted an upgrade to 3.8.1 but it failed with the error: “Upgrade failed! We were unable to proceed due to a failure in a required procedure necessary to complete your upgrade.”
I believe this is all related to the plugins and I am not sure how to resolve the issue.
Can somebody point me in the right direction?
