• Just wondering why there are two entries to grant the capability “edit posts”? When i installed it, my authors suddenly didn’t have permission to add/edit posts until until i found the second entry. Before i realized that, even when i deactivated the plugin and reactivated the “role manager” plugin, i could not grant that capability again. Now i found the second entry and everything works fine. Uninstalling does not delete the mysql rows of your plugin, which seem to override “normal” capability management. Which row affects the authors caps? Cheers Paul

  • There are no new rows. WordPress saves all capabilities are saved on the same entry on the options table. The plugin does not change this and check for duplicates.

I could not reproduce this behavior in none of my sites and it is working as expected for me.
