    (I think-follow my logic here)
    I had a page at domain/podcast
after installing this plugin, the page rendered only “ERROR: This is not a valid feed template.”

I can still edit the page. I can see all of my content.
I deactivated the plugin – issue remains
I deleted the plugin – issue remains
    I cleared site-wide and server-wide cache – issue remains
I cloned the page /podcast to /podcast-2 — page works as expected
    I deleted /podcast, and renamed /podcast-2 to /podcast – issue returns

As of now- I’ve had to rename it to /podcasts (with an S) – and setup a 301 redirect from /podcast to /podcasts.

This is not ideal- as I’d rather not redirect just from a plugin breaking my theme.
I could be totally wrong here- but it would appear that the installation perhaps tries to reserve domain/podcast for itself?

I *DID* try one other plugin before yours. Didn’t like the options I saw right off the bat, and removed it. Never did any testing of it, or between. So I 100% acknowledge that this could have happened already. But since I spent time setting this one up and getting the code into the footer of every page, I’m wondering if that somehow broke it at some point in time.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi there,

Firstly I am sorry if you feel any problems with Podcast Player.

To clarify, podcast player does not try to reserve “domain/podcast” for itself. In fact, this plugin does not make any permanent changes to your website. So, if the issue remains even after disabling the plugin, this issue is most likely created by some other reason.

However, Can you provide the URL of the page, so that I can check in detail for the reason of this problem.

getting the code into the footer of every page. Which plugin forces you to put custom codes. It seems, this might be the problem.

Please provide the problematic URL and name of the plugin you used before Podcast Player. I will check and try my best to resolve the issue.

    Thanks for trying Podcast Player.
