Plugin breaks my site when activated

Hi there,

Currently de plugin is not on my site because it breaks my site when I want to activate it. I have disabled all my other plugin to see if there would be a conflict with one of those, but no. Even with no other plugin, my site broke.

So, I need a little help, so I can use the plugin. I’m on the genesis framework with foodie pro as child theme.

Hey there!

I’m sorry to hear you are having this issue – you mentioned you are using the Genesis theme framework, have you tried to activate WooCommerce with a default theme (such as Twenty Nineteen or Storefront) to see if you still had the same issue then?

Hi Fevered,

Yes, also then my site breaks. I get a critical error. But it takes forever for the plugin to get downloaded form the store.

Hey there,

Thanks for that – that does sound very strange that it happens with everything deactivated. Can you send a copy of the fatal error you see? Can you send me a link to where you downloaded the plugin from, just to confirm?

How can I send you a print screen of the error I see? It’s about a error on line 44.

That error looks to be about the Action Scheduler tables, and it seems to say they don’t exist – there is an issue here on GitHub with some things to try in terms of fixing the issue: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/25895

Hi there,
There is a small free plugin that shold fix this issue by rebuilding the missing tables.
You can download it from here:

https://github.com/woocommerce/action-scheduler/archive/3.1.4.zip

Simply install it and then visit Tools ➔ Action Scheduler and let it do its job.

Can you please confirm which version of WooCommerce you are installing?
