[Plugin: Bowe Codes] bc_groups error: different links for different shortcodes on the same web site

    The following codes run on the same web site, but produce different links for the same groups.

    [bc_user_groups size=”25″ amount=”5″ type=”active”] produces a link ../community/groups/[groupslugname]. This is the correct link structure.

    On the same web site, [bc_groups amount=”5″ size=”25″ type=”active”] produces links ../groups/[groupslugname] . The “community” directory is left out.

    Hi MarcusCake,

    Thank you for your feedback. Actually, the 2 shortcodes are using the same function bowe_codes_groups_tag()defined line 227 of the main plugin file.

    So i’m not sure there’s a problem with the code i wrote. This function is calling the tag bp_get_group_permalink( $group ). You may look if a filter is applyed on the return of this function by another plugin. You can also try :
    <?php var_dump( bp_get_root_domain() . '/' . bp_get_groups_root_slug() ) ;?> to figure out where the trouble come from..

    I knew at the time of posting that it was an unlikely error that a programmer would make, or survive testing.

    I have disabled a few plugins and installed a few more since my original post … when I looked at this issue again … it no longer exists. I tried to reproduce it today, but couldn’t.

    Sorry for the inconvenience … I don’t know why it happened. I do know I spent at least an hour trying to fix it (before my original post).
