[Plugin: Better WP Security] Compatibility issues with sharing functionalities

Hi,

We are facing issues when sharing links on social networks (google + and facebook), no thumbnail or description are displayed, we only have the plain link of a page.

We’re wondering if better wp security hasn’t changed some core files impacting on the metas so that nothing is showing when sharing a URL manually or via social buttons. We tried to desactivate the feature that disables wordpress metas. Nothing changed.

Sidenote: We desactivated our SEO plugin to make sure there was no incompatibility issue and investigated about our theme and share plugin. We found websites using our same theme and social plugin that are perfectly enabling the metas.
